Since you have been using the computer for a long time, it is undeniable that computer performance is reducing day by day, such as computer is running slower and slower, or an increasing number of junks are piling up in the computer. 1. Clean and optimize registry

When Windows boot up, system needs to read data in the registry and put them in the ram temporarily. Windows spend most time in this regard. Therefore, it is necessary to clean and optimize registry. As for how to do that, you can turn to certain optimizer to help you.

2. Delete excessive dynamic library link files.

In the Windows-based operating systems, there are many dynamic library link files in the system subdirectory. Among them, some are shared by many files while some are quite useless. In order to free up disk space and improve computer speed, you can delete them on condition that you are skillful in computer technology.

3. Maintain system regularly.

If you have put too many games and applications with lot of old and useless data, it is no doubt computer is running slower and slower as well as booting computer.

Therefore, you should maintain computer completely at proper intervals. For example, to defragment disk is really a good way to optimize computer. Besides, it is a must to defragment the disk where you put systematic programs. This is the right way to speed up starting up order of Windows correctly.

4. Expand virtual memory

If you have large disk, it is quite suitable for you to set virtual memory. You can point to a disk that is seldom used and then fix maximum and minimum values which is twice as that of physical memory. In this way, when virtual memory is applying hard disk, the value does not have to change unstably. Instead, system can apply fixed space as virtual memory so as to speed up read-write speed.

What is more, it is advisable for you to set the values after defragmentation because virtual memory should be put in a continuous space without any fragment. Only by doing this, it can play greater role in optimizing computer performance.
