How To Find And Fix Registry Corruptions

A corrupt registry file is one of the main culprits in systems that do not perform well. You will experience problems from slow bootup to general sluggishness to complete system failure depending on what is wrong in the registry.

How can you tell if your computer system is one that is experiencing corrupt registry entries? Corruptions are generally causes when you install or delete programs. For example if your have four programs that you install using the same .dll file. When you un-install one of these programs this file is deletes. But, there are three other files relying on this .dll file to be present and now it is gone. Power interruptions and system or program failures can cause corrupt entries to be present in the registry files. Also malware and viruses can cause corruptions in the registry files as well.

Fixing corrupt registry entries is easy. Begin by scanning your system for any defective hardware. If any are found remove and re-install the hardware device. Next you will need to scan the software for problems. If you find problems in the operating system you may need to re-install it but be sure to back all your documents and other information you want to save.
